The new Telegraph Business page is up on Facebook!

Regular readers of my blog may be surprised to know I have worked closely with local businesses over the past 3-4 years, writing two to three articles a week for our newspaper’s Business section and putting together the “Business Briefs.”

Now, we have launched a new Telegraph Business page on Facebook, and we are ready to give you the business!

Amy Schaake and I will be the administrators and we hope you will be as excited as we are about this opportunity for networking among professionals as well as keeping the public up to date on what businesses are coming to their area and what established companies have to offer.

Amy Schaake, field sales representative for The Telegraph and ambassador with the River Bend Growth Association, has over 11 years of experience working with professionals. She will be the page’s main liaison for local businesses in the area and will be posting her own news and information daily.

I am a reporter for The Telegraph and co-administrator for The Telegraph’s new Entertainment page on Facebook (shameless plug here…this is the link to the tremendously cool Entertainment page ). I will be posting the Telegraph’s latest stories featuring new business ribbon-cuttings, anniversaries, and upcoming events.

We also plan to keep our visitors up to date with the latest national and international news affecting the corporate world as well as the local business networking communities in our area. We will be posting some of the biggest stories sure to affect the local business world.

Check us out here!

Because this is a Facebook page, we expect plenty of interaction from our visitors. Tell us what you do and do not like about the new page, how to make us better, and how we can grow. Our goal is to make this page THE place to go for local, national, and international business happenings.
