by k, I was just starting to come to terms with the fact that I am not the center of the universe. I wasn’t happy about it, but I was accepting it.
And now this. What else am I supposed to think?
But before I can share with you what happened to change my mind, I have to get this out of the way.
I hate Glee.
There. I said it. My friends know it. My family knows it. My coworkers know it. And now that I have said it aloud, I am ready for the backlash. I know I apparently am the ONLY one in the world who hates Glee. And I was content to share the world with the one television show I detest, the two of us eyeing each other warily from across the room like guests at a party going after the same girl.
But now this. Glee has apparently learned about the one person who hates it with a passion (me), and has found the ultimate revenge. Devoting an entire episode to singing the hits of?.my favorite band.
Last night. Fleetwood Mac. The songs of Rumours. For a whole episode. “Go Your Own Way.” “I Don’t Want to Know.” “Songbird.” Sung by the kids of Glee. (Fred shudders)
AHHHHHHHH!!!!! (Fred flails)
It CAN’T be a coincidence that the show I hate most massacres the group I revere the most. It was a plot. A scheme. Glee found a weakness in my armor and zeroed in.
So I say again?what else can I think? If I have the power to single-handedly make a television show attack me in such a merciless, brutal fashion, then I MUST be the center of the universe. There can be no other explanation.

I feel for ya, but…. Fleetwood Mac is my all time favorite too. So that being said I have to ask..”Why were you not singing along”? Heck I couldn’t even hear the Gleeksters singing, cause I rocking for myself.
On the other had I must say I think it kind of take me back to Jr. High and High School days, because I was in Chorus and such. I think that Glee is just a matter of totally liking it or just not liking it.
I do think it’s kinda funny that they performed the band you like most though!!!

I have never seen the show in my life, but the producers are apparently gifted at raising controversy.
I think you hit the nail on the head, Mike…when the ratings start slipping, you watch…one of the stars will conveniently get arrested for a minor offense!
Fred! This is crazy. Janice, you and I all agree on something! HA! I actually don’t hate the music but I loathe the show itself!
